Frequently Asked Questions

1.      I cannot access the BankVista login page

You have to ensure that popups are enabled in your internet browser settings. Otherwise this will prevent the application to be displayed. Please follow the below instructions for your browser to enable popups.

Please be aware that BankVista cannot be used on a tablet.

 

·         Internet Explorer:

-   Open the Internet Explorer browser

-   Click on the Tools menu

-   Select Internet Options

-   Select the Privacy tab

-   Click on the Settings button in the Pop-up Blocker section

-   Enter the following address https://online.abnamro.lu

-   Click on the Add button

-   To finish click on the Close button

 

·         Mozilla Firefox:

-   Open the Mozilla Firefox browser

-   Click on the Tools menu

-   Select Options

-   Select the Content tab

-   Click on the Exception button, in the Block pop-up windows section

-   Enter the following address https://online.abnamro.lu

-   Click on the Allow button

-   To finish click on the Close button

 

·         Google Chrome:

-   Open the Google Chrome browser

-   Click on the wrench icon to view the Settings menu

-   Select Options

-   Select the Under the Hood tab

-   Click on the Content Settings button in the Privacy section

-   Click on the Manage Exceptions button in the Pop-ups section

-   Enter the following address https://online.abnamro.lu

-   Click on the Allow button

-   To finish click on the Close button

 

·         Safari or Firefox (Mac):

-   Open the Safari/Firefox browser

-   Click on the Safari/Firefox menu

-   Select Preferences

-   Select the Security tab

-   Uncheck the box Block Pop-up windows

 

 

2.      I cannot see the whole page on my screen or scroll down.

The recommended screen resolution for BankVista is the highest resolution available. If you are already using the highest screen resolution available, please click on CRTL and N  simultaneously, when being in the BankVista application. A new window will appear in which you have the possibility to scroll. To zoom in or out, use the buttons CRTL and + or CRTL and buttons respectively.

In case the taskbar is blocking information at the bottom of the screen, you can choose to auto-hide the taskbar.

 

 

3.      I cannot download the Excel and PDF reports

To download the Excel and PDF reports, some internet setting may need to be changed. To modify these settings, you have to:

-   Open the Internet Explorer browser

-   Click on the Tools menu

-   Select Internet Options

-   Select the Security tab

-   Select the Internet zone

-   Click on the Custom Level button

-   Scroll down until Downloads – Automatic prompting for file downloads

-   Click on Enable

-   Click on OK

 

 

4.      I cannot open PDF reports

To be able read to read PDF documents, Adobe Reader needs to be installed on your PC. In the menu on the left you can select ‘Adobe PDF’ and test if Adobe Reader is correctly installed on your PC.

 

 

5.      I cannot save or print PDF reports

If the PDF document is opened in a browser, you may be unable to save or print the report. In Adobe Reader, please follow the following instructions:

-   Click on Edit

-   Click on Preferences

-   Select Internet in the menu on the left

-   Un-check the box Display PDF in browser

-   Click on OK
