On 15 August 2011, ABN AMRO Bank N.V. reached agreement with Union Bancaire Privée, UBP SA on the sale of ABN AMRO’s Swiss Private Banking activities.
Amsterdam, 1 November 2011 - On 15 August 2011, ABN AMRO Bank N.V. reached agreement with Union Bancaire Privée, UBP SA on the sale of ABN AMRO’s Swiss Private Banking activities.
The completion was subject to the satisfaction of certain closing conditions. These conditions have been met and the sale of ABN AMRO’s Swiss Private Banking activities was completed on 31 October 2011.
The transaction is expected to lead to a solid book gain, which will be recorded in Q4 2011.
